Job Description

  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Inter-company recharges at month end
  • Support the reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data for reporting purposes.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying any variances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Provide general support to the accounting & finance department as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the property industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • An understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team in Leatherhead.
