Job Description

The Assistant Management Accounant will;

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for the organisation.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights to the finance team.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial procedures.
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation and liaising with auditors as needed.
  • Help streamline financial processes to improve efficiency.
  • Provide support to the Accounting & Finance department in ad hoc tasks and projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., AAT, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the accounting and finance field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
