Job Description

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Maintain and update financial systems and records.
  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • Experience in accounting or finance roles within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • A relevant qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
