Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary.
  • Support the year-end audit process.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance department.
  • Maintain internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management Accountant.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
