We are looking for a diligent Assistant Management Accountant to join our industrious team, based in Dartford, who will be instrumental in assisting with the financial health and prosperity of our company.

Job Description

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Developing and maintaining internal control systems.
  • Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinating with external auditors to facilitate audits.
  • Participating in the formulation of strategic business plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Liaising with various department heads to streamline financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Working towards professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. (Ideally PQ Level)
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
