Assistant Accountant

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Provide timely and accurate financial data to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies in financial records.
• Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Assist in managing credit control and resolving invoicing issues.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to track and analyse manufacturing costs.
• Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and cost variance analysis.
• Assist in ensuring accurate recording of production data in financial systems
