Job Description

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Post journals, including accruals and prepayments, and support month-end processes.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports and compliance submissions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.



The Successful Applicant

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Part-Qualified: Actively studying towards an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Experienced: At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within financial services.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiarity with regulatory reporting and banking processes is an advantage.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Organised: Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicative: Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ambitious: Keen to take on new challenges and grow with the organisation.
