Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Support in the management of general ledger and account reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Provide assistance in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Adhere to accounting standards and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes
  • Assist in conducting internal audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department in other tasks as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
