An Aftercare Officer is required to join a dedicated team in a London-based Housing Association, providing essential customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the department.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing face to face support to customers
  • Liaising with contractors to resolve any issues raised by residents
  • Acting as the main point of contact between the Aftercare and Defects teams
  • Managing and updating client records
  • Coordinating appointments and schedules
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions

The Successful Applicant

A successful Aftercare Officer should have:

  • Prior experience in an Aftercare role or similar
  • Knowledge of Defects Management
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • High level of discretion and understanding of confidentiality principles
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
