Job Description

  • Processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
  • Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
  • Assisting in financial audits.
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Supporting the Accounting & Finance department in monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Providing support and assistance to the company's Finance Director.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
