We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a fast-paced retail environment in Canterbury. This temporary role focuses on the administration within the sales ledger team.

Job Description

  • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies with customers or internal teams.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments while maintaining positive client relations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial records and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

  • A good knowledge of raising sales invoices
  • Knowledge of allocating cash
  • Ideally have your own transport
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
