Job Description

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and distribute invoices, statements, and payment reminders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and client queries.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding accounts and collection activities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes as required.
  • Maintain organised financial records in accordance with company policies.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role in accounting and finance.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
