We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional for a temporary position within our Accounting & Finance Department in Heathrow. This role is vital in maintaining financial records and processing transactions within our industrial/manufacturing company.

Job Description

  • Processing invoices and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports.
  • Reconciling company accounts and liaising with suppliers.
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Verifying expense reports and preparing reimbursements.
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
  • Contributing to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Supporting the wider finance team as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable should have:

  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
