Job Description

  • Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval in line with company policies.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Respond to supplier and internal queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the preparation of payment runs, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounts payable processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:

  • Experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting and finance.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software SAP accounting and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
