Job Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee invoice processing and supplier payment schedules.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and provide regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
  • Lead and support a small team within the accounts payable function.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Assist in month-end closing and audit preparations as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable from a high volume, multi site background
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
