This role is for an Accounts Payable Clerk with a passion for the retail industry. The successful candidate will be part of the Accounting & Finance department, helping to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.

Job Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk will;

  • Processing invoices and expense forms.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and handling queries.
  • Managing payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with month-end closure of accounts payable.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvements.
  • Providing support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and databases.
