An entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk role for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Description

  • Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
  • Handle account inquiries and reconcile statements
  • Process invoices and payment requests
  • Maintain vendor files and update account information
  • Perform monthly closings and prepare related reports
  • Assist with other accounting projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and detail-oriented skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
  • Ability to handle high volumes of data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
