Job Description

  • Manage the processing of invoices and expenses
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and record keeping
  • Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Debit and Credit
  • Coordinate with suppliers and resolve payment queries
  • Assist in month-end closing activities
  • Maintain and update the accounts payable database
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in finance projects and initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting & Finance
  • Competence in financial software and databases
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
