Job Description

The responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Assistant role will be:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports
  • Contributing to team efforts in accounting and finance projects
  • Ensuring financial records are kept up-to-date
  • Assisting with audits as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and suppliers
  • Supporting the wider retail team with financial queries
  • Maintaining confidentiality of financial information

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • A solid understanding of accounts payable processes, and at least two years experience in a similar accountancy role
  • Knowledge of financial software systems
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
