Job Description



  • Prepare and process quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, year-end financial statements, and account reconciliations.


  • Attend client meetings, taking a proactive role in planning, research, and ongoing communication to support their financial needs.


  • Manage correspondence and queries with HMRC and Companies House in a timely and professional manner.


  • Draft formal letters and documentation in accordance with internal branding and communication standards.


  • Support the development and training of the Accounts Senior, fostering continuous professional growth within the team.


  • Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasting, identifying potential issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.


  • Assist with tax compliance processes, including the collation, preparation, submission, and review of both individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy for final submission.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
  • A solid working understanding of accounting, corporation tax and personal tax.
  • Knowledge of different accounting softwares.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
