Job Description



The accounts assistant (Fixed Term Contract) roles key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices for clients, monitor accounts for overdue payments, and assist in debt recovery.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
  • General Ledger Support: Assist in posting journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting software.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide input into financial reports.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the accounts assistant role at a New Media & Internet will have experience in some of/all the above responsibilities.
