Job Description

  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
  • Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
  • Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing
  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
  • Organise financial data into use able information and maintain updated records
  • Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
  • Ensure compliance with the law

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years UK Practice experience.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, ACA)
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP)
  • Well-organised with ability in problem-solving and team management
