About Our Client

A leading brand in Ireland and a key player in Smarthome security is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager in Ireland, this role is pivotal in developing relationships with key retail accounts and executing commercial plans across various product categories.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships at both store and head office levels with new and existing retail partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by honoring commitments and being customer-focused.
  • Conduct regular in-store training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable and comfortable selling the brand.
  • Negotiate in-store displays and secure incremental space for optimal product presentation and merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the line manager to achieve quarterly KPIs and sales quotas.
  • Ensure timely project completion in line with the budget.
  • Analyze sales data to identify problems and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with GTM and line manager to activate promotions and follow marketing campaigns.
  • Collect market intelligence, including data on industry trends, product standards, and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor customer performance through accurate forecasting, sales tracking, and budget management, updating records weekly.
  • Collaborate with the Ops team to manage forecasts and minimize aged stock.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows as required by the business.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in a business-related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a sales or product training role.
  • A positive, energetic approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, along with resilience and the ability to work independently.
  • Good IT skills and a full, clean driving license.
