Job Description
- Accountable for meeting budgeted sales and margins for the assigned region
- Manage the sales managers and develop new markets within assigned region
- Establish strong relationships with customers by building a network of contacts within their organisation
- Identify market potential and develop plans & strategies for developing business and achieving sales targets
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
- Contribute to customer, market and competitor activities monitoring
- Initiate product development strategies (short and long term) through the Product Development Plan
- Represent the company at events/conferences/seminars when applicable and network with trade and sales organisations in the industry
- Development of the Sales Managers to help them get the right skills for goal orientation
- Manage potential Agents and Brokers for the company in Beverage Market
The Successful Applicant
Holder of a Bachelor's degree, you are fluent in English, a foreign language as per geography is a plus.
You have a minimum of 7 years experience in capital equipment sales and territory/business area management, particularly in the packaging and ideally in Nigeria.
Availability to travel often will be required.
