Lifecycle Oils is a pioneering company dedicated to transforming used cooking oil into sustainable energy solutions.

We believe that yesterday’s cooking oils should become tomorrow’s energy and that business waste can be recycled into successful green energy solutions.

Through our pioneering technology, we recover waste oil that previously went down the drain, turning it into solutions including a key product used in the production of biodiesel as well as a patented, eco-friendly fuel for power generation. This not only creates a source of income for businesses but also keeps kitchens and waterways clean and efficient.

Recycling for all

It is estimated that the UK pours in excess of 18 million litres of oil down the sink every year – enough to generate the electricity to make 4.3 billion cups of tea.

We’ve partnered with over 96% of the country’s household recycling centres so next time your family is taking a trip to the tip, make sure you bottle up your oil and do your bit to keep our waterways oil and grease free.

Alongside collection from household recycling centres, we collect from national and independent food service establishments.

In the last year at Lifecycle Oils, I’ve seen the business rapidly develop its capability to service our sector, opening new sites across the country as we develop our national microsite distribution and collection network. We will soon open our new state-of-art processing facility in Wednesbury which will be a major boost to our capacity and efficiency to re-purpose used cooking oil; more will follow in future years. Investing in new sites and equipment is only part of the picture; we need great people too in order to succeed.
