They have a history of growth and have a forward-thinking approach to e-commerce and distribution.Job DescriptionThe role of Shift Manager will involve:Overseeing the day-to-day picking and packing of customer orders on the PM shift (2pm-10pm).Coordinating and managing staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Implementing and maintaining operational procedures in line with company policies.Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless process flow.Monitoring the performance of staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed.Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.Handling any escalated staff issues that arise during your shift.The Successful ApplicantA successful Shift Manager should have:Proven experience in a managerial role within the logistics industry (preferably in e-commerce).Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively and efficiently.A proactive approach and 'can-do' attitude.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and industry best practices.LEAN, Kaizen or 5S experience (advantageous).Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to handle staff issues professionally.A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.What's on OfferThe role of Shift Manager benefits from:A excellent salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.Pension scheme.A PM shift, working Monday-FridayThe opportunity to work in a vibrant, fast-paced e-commerce environment in Stratford-upon-Avon.A supportive and collaborative company culture that values the contributions of its team members.An employee discount.We encourage all candidates who believe they possess the qualities we're seeking to apply.
