About Our Client
Our client is a well known Manchester firm, they have undergone a substantial period of growth over the last few years and have won numerous awards. As a Private Client Solicitor you will be joining an award winning team of over 40 individuals.
Job Description
As a Private Client Solicitor you will provide legal advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth individuals, families, business owners and entrepreneurs, landowners and landlords, corporate trustees and fiduciary service providers and charities. The team encourage collaborative working and promote a working environment which fosters discussion and support for solicitors who are typically entrusted with a significant degree of autonomy.
Duties will include:
- Ability to run caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Advising on/drafting Wills, Probate and Estate Administration and Inheritance Tax mitigation
- Advising on HNW/UHNW estate planning
- Familiarity with relevant tax legislation
- Knowledge of trusts establishment, taxation and administration
Desirable:
- Experience dealing with the formation and taxation of family investment companies is preferred but not essential
- STEP qualification preferable, though not essential. Financial support available for candidates without STEP qualification to take the relevant examinations
The Successful Applicant
You will be a Private Client Solicitor of between 1-5 PQE. Please note that the level of experience identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
