Job Description

Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial negotiations with key partners and new accounts
* Collaborate closely on a daily basis with all key departments to deliver the trading calendar by developing & implementing innovative sales initiatives
* Collaborate cross functionally with product development, operations and finance to optimise product assortment, pricing strategies and inventory
* Plan and deliver successful NPD launches in all channels through the buying & merchandising team
* Liasing closely with marketing and the founders to maximise growth opportunities
* Define and execute the 3-5 year commercial plan inline with growth plan. This will include product ranging, commercial planning, market expansion
* Working with the B&M team to ensure sufficient stock cover to deliver the trading plan
* Reviewing any under performance and interrogating data to provide insights and manage any future risks
* Analysing trading patterns and understanding the seasonal sales, reporting insights and identifying opportunities to further maximise sales and profitability
* Lead the commercial strategy and execution for all areas of sales, driving revenue growth, profit and market expansion
* Managing and reporting daily/weekly/monthly sales/KPI's and promotions to the wider business
* Develop and implement comprehensive strategies across new product categories, our corporate division and digital concessions to drive revenue growth and expand the brand's presence
* ***Identify new business opportunities and potential wholesale partners to grow customer base
* ***Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential wholesale accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
* Top line sales growth through existing and future markets
* Lead, manage and coach a high performing team delivering on KPI's
* Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
* Understand design & NPD product landscape to spot future trends
* Lead the collaboration between sales, ops & marketing to ensure consistent brand delivery and availability across all channels

  • Strong numerical and commercial skills (product buying and merchandising) with a fast ability to identify and negotiate
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and make strategic decisions
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results
  • Strategic thinker with a data driven approach to decision making and problem solving
  • Deep understanding of P&L management and core financial capabilities
  • Proven track record of success in a senior commercial role, preferably within a medium sized business and potentially with some experience in perishables
  • A real 'doer' who thrives in a start-up/SME environment
  • Detail orientated with strong organisational skills, you are a project management expert who builds teams and fosters relationships.
  • Confident in preparing and presenting reports and road-maps to stakeholders and the board group
  • Experienced in change management and transformation
  • Values focused with a positive, can-do attitude
