Job Description

  • Develop and create innovative womenswear designs
  • Keep abreast of current fashion trends and forecasts
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure design quality and consistency
  • Create presentations and mood boards to communicate design ideas
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on customer feedback and market research
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Participate in trade shows and fashion events

The Successful Applicant

A successful Designer Womenswear should have:

  • A degree in fashion design or a related field
  • Extensive womenswear fashion design experience (5 years+ experience)
  • Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the fashion industry and current trends
  • A creative mind with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments
