Job Description

The role of Shift Manager will involve:

  • Leading and managing a large inbound warehouse team, including Supervisors and Team Leaders.
  • Working a 4-on/4-off shift pattern 6am-6pm.
  • Overseeing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Managing agency supplier relationships for temporary labour.
  • Implementing and maintaining high-performance KPI standards.
  • Conducting disciplinary and investigation processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Coordinating with other departments for seamless operations.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts within the team.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Shift Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of fast-paced distribution operations.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, inc. coaching and mentoring.
  • A proven track record of managing large teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
