Across the UK, North America and Canada the company employs approximately 4,000 employees across a diverse range of specialist areas.Job DescriptionResponsible for the development of Reward policies and procedures across the Group to inform quality and consistency in remuneration decision making and appropriate governance. Works with Reward/HR/the business in local countries and business areas to ensure that the policies and procedures are appropriate and ensure their successful implementation.Provides leadership and development to a team of 3 direct reportsResponsible for the delivery of all year-end Reward processes across the GroupResponsible for developing reward policies and processes across the Group and ensuring that all countries and business areas adhere to them.Responsible for overseeing the ongoing operation of the Group's job evaluation process including system configuration, training of HR staff, escalation point on job evaluation queries and ensures compliance to the governance processAccountable for the delivery of the Annual Pay Review process including project planning and budgeting, overseeing the preparation of materials and systems build, training of and delivery through Reward/ HR colleagues, and manage the ongoing engagement with HR Business Partners, internal auditors and other internal stakeholders.Accountable for the delivery of the Group Annual Bonus process, including monitoring of accruals, project planning, overseeing the calculation of awards and manage the necessary engagement with Reward/HR colleagues, auditors and other internal stakeholders.Works with the Company Secretariat function to support all grants and vestings of awards made under the Company share plans.This includes, but not limited to, the provision of data to Company Secretariat and relevant external vendors.Responsible for overseeing the calculation of the annual Gender Pay Gap statistics and other mandatory reporting statistics and value-adding insight analysis.Oversees employee recognition programmes across the Group and proactively monitors the ongoing effectiveness of such schemes through employee feedback.May be required support or lead on the delivery of annual benefit processes in the UK, such as the annual benefit enrolment window.Supports the ongoing management of existing benefit schemes and processes, by either responding to directly (or via their team) to employee questions and ongoing liaison with external brokers and benefit vendors.Line manager of the Reward Specialist, Reward Adviser and Reward Analyst roles, including providing day-to-day direction, performance management and supporting their career development.Be part of the team which engages with the various trade union groups in the UK on all remuneration matters and serves as a subject matter expertise to local Reward colleagues engaging with local trade union groups on remuneration matters.Agree with vendors which surveys to participate in each year and overseas the annual data submission processIs the lead point of contact and expertise for the Group's sales incentive plans. This includes contributing to the design or new plans and/or changes to existing plans, and being HR's point of approval on governance matters.Leads on various Reward projects, and ad-hoc HR projects as required.
