Job Description

  • Oversee and manage compliance processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters, including risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring timely updates to policies.
  • Provide training and resources to staff on compliance-related topics.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Compliance Officer should have:

  • At least 4 years proven experience in a compliance-related role within a legal setting.
  • Strong conflicts and AML exposure.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • A professional qualification in law, compliance, or a related field is preferred.
