Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive policy insight strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Analyse and interpret data to produce compelling policy recommendations and reports.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure research and insights inform advocacy efforts.
  • Monitor developments in the sector to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and collaborate on policy projects.
  • Support the team in delivering high-quality policy briefings and presentations.
  • Lead on producing thought leadership pieces to elevate the organisation's profile.
  • Ensure all policy initiatives are evidence-based and aligned with organisational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Policy and Insight Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in policy development, ideally within the education sector or social mobility non-profits.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Demonstrable expertise in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
  • A track record of contributing to evidence-based advocacy and policy change.
