Job Description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients.
  • Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with activities such as business acquisitions and mergers.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge of personal tax law.
  • Provide assistance during audits.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities for providing additional services to clients.
  • Prepare tax returns and computations.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their needs and explain complex tax issues in an understandable manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver comprehensive service to clients.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Senior should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and tax software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
