Originally the business started out as an investment manager and hasnow developed the financial planning side of the offering, putting this at the forefront of the clientrelationship.Today they manage and advise on over £4.5 billion of client assets, acquired through a combinationof organic business growth and corporate acquisitions.Job DescriptionMy client is recruiting an experienced, high calibre Paraplanner, who can demonstrate a background ofproviding high level technical paraplanning including the production of cash flow models and highqualitysuitability report.The role will report to a paraplanning team leader, and the key areas of responsibility are as follows:Analyse client information and existing investments/policiesTax calculationsConstruct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations in conjunction with the advisersWrite suitability reports for cases of varying complexityRun cashflow models for clientsBe a point of contact for technical queries for CS and advisersCommunicating with clients on research and report time scalesAttend client meetings where requiredHelping to train other members of the teamPotentially getting involved in some project work to further improve our systems and processesLeading Pod meetingsUndertake peer reviews for the paraplanning teamThe Successful ApplicantDemonstrate a strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial productsBe CII level 4 diploma qualified as a minimum and ideally working towards Chartered statusHave a minimum of 3 years' experience within a paraplanning roleHave strong IT skills; experience of Curo, FE Analytics and Voyant advantageousHave a good attention to detailBe a good team playerExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in writingBe comfortable with working in a fast-paced environmentBe organised and able to manage a busy workloadWhat's on OfferAn excellent salary and benefits package is available to the successful candidate.
