National Account Manager - Grocery

Job Description

The National Account Manager - Grocery will come with the following:

  • Lead and manage the relationship with Asda, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and KPIs.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of products and services.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews and performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and promotional plans to maximise profitability.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure effective budget management and accurate forecasting for the assigned account.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager - Grocery should have:

  • Experience managing key accounts in the FMCG industry, ideally within an account management role.
  • Experience in grocery or across a large key customer of good size.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, tailored to professional audiences.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
