Job Description

  • Manage and develop relationships with a key national grocery accounts.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying and capitalising on new opportunities within the FMCG sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and customer needs.
  • Analyse sales data to inform decision-making and achieve performance targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and meetings as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Grocery National Account Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing grocery accounts within the FMCG industry.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and key account management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
  • Experience in working collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Familiarity with market trends and the competitive landscape in FMCG.
