Job Description

  • Manage and develop key accounts within the Foodservice sector to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer requirements.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders and clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Monitor account performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular updates to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager should have:

  • Proven experience within foodservice and an understanding of wholesalers.
  • Experience working with Brakes and/or Bidfood preferred.
  • A hunter mentality and experience of winning new business.
  • A strong understanding of sales processes and account management strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • The ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • A results-oriented approach with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for reporting and presentations.
