Job Description

  • Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance team.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Uphold health and safety standards within the department.
  • Manage call-outs on a rota basis.
  • Report directly to the Site Manager with progress updates and issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Team Leader should have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field is desirable however not essential
  • Proven leadership skills in a maintenance or engineering role within an industrial industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage a team effectively and efficiently.
