Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day operations within the production department.
  • Expert rotary pouch packer machine operator experience
  • Over indexing with engineering / problem solving experience
  • Snack pack experience
  • Ensure all products meet the company's high standards of quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and meet supply demands.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of engineers and manufacturers.
  • Identify opportunities for process and product improvements and implement them.
  • Work in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to optimise company operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Supervisor should have:

  • Expert rotary pouch packer machine operator experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Over indexing with engineering / problem solving experience
  • Snack pack experience
  • Food safety and HACCP level 3.
  • Proven experience in supervisory or managerial roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and oversee the team.
