Based in Sheffield, the company prides itself on fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.Job DescriptionBe the first point of contact for learning and development queries at site level and be responsible for ensuring all training activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner. Delivering learning events, including inductions, carrying out learning needs and skills assessments. Successfully implement and champion the site wide L&D strategy. Ensure regulatory training is delivered and maintained (covering areas such as Health & Safety, regulatory compliance, food safety, customer/retailer requirements) ensuring that we are always audit ready. Ensuring all L&D activities result in the ongoing development of our people, helping to build high performing teams, increase staff engagement, and improve retention. Deliver structured L&D programmes and competency-based frameworks for colleagues at all levels, ensuring they are provided with the technical and behavioural/soft-skills required to help them improve and open up future career opportunities. Continue looking for new, improved ways of training, exploring new methodology and methods of delivery. Ensuring that training records and systems are accurate, updated and maintained.
