As a HR Manager, you will business partner the Site Manager and oversee and manage HR operations across the logistics teams. This temporary role is based on site in Dunstable and requires a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures to support organisational growth goals.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all HR operations, including employee relations, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations
  • Develop management capability through training and implementing HR processes
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals
  • Business partner leadership teams to support growth and organisational goals
  • Support managers and employees with HR-related queries and concerns
  • Facilitate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills
  • Assist in organisational change and restructuring initiatives as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • Proven experience within a HR Manager or HRBP role, working with operational teams - ideally within retail, logistics, engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance requirements
  • Comfortable working in an environment where you'll build the HR function from the ground up
  • Experience in managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment and employee relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across a range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools for managing payroll and employee data.
  • The ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
