We are delighted to be partnering with a leading Charity with international presence looking for a Financial Accounts Officer to join the Financial Accounting Team. Working within a large set up there is great opportunity for collaboration within the team, an opportunity to learn, develop and progress within the organisation.

Job Description

  • Prepare and process financial transactions and statements
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable process
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
  • Assist in month end processes and the production of audit files
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
  • Support regular auditing and financial analysis activities
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the team
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with the company's policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accounts Officer should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or finance qualification (AAT or undergoing your ACCA)
  • Base knowledge of accounting principles & concepts.
  • Experience doing bank reconciliations would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in excel & financial software's.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A can do attitude & strong interest in the Charity sector/ Non- Profit space.
