We are seeking an Economist / Evidence Manager to join a leading non profit focused on alleviating the gap in youth employment in marginalised groups. The role involves working on the development of impactful evaluations. You will manage the evaluation process against new grantees.

Job Description

  • Support scoping, design and development of impact evaluation designs.
  • Working on the development of impact evaluations; working with external evaluators to manage the process against their grantees.
  • You will manage a number of evaluation projects linked to certain grantees and work with allocated evaluators to develop an evaluation process.
  • You will be tasked to gain key insights & evidence to show the impact of the grants on the wider community.
  • Create proposals directed at evaluators, monitoring progress, working on long term monitoring; these projects will be 3+ years.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Economist / Evidence Manager should have:

  • An educational background in Economics or a related field
  • Excellent numerical and analytic skills
  • Strong knowledge of impact evaluation.
  • Ability to collate and understand data and turn it into understandable terms for others.
  • Extensive experience managing evaluation processes/ strong project management skills.
