Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all grant-related financial activities.
  • Coordinate with diverse teams to ensure accurate fund allocation.
  • Prepare financial reports for grant-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations.
  • Develop and implement efficient grant management processes.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the team and key stakeholders.
  • Review and approve grant applications and final reports.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of grant-funded projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Grant Accounting Manager should have:

  • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qual accountant.
  • Proven experience in grant accounting & the full grant lifecycle on multiple grants.
  • Experience reporting on grants & ensuring expenditure is monitored effectively.
  • Ability to showcase excellent business partnering skills; budgeting & forecasting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading on procurement; providing colleagues with support for the Request for Proposals process
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel.
