About Our Client

My client are looking for a highly analytical, strategic and data-driven Ecommerce Trading Manager to join the business. Experience working in Seasonal non-food products is very valuable, although, transferable experience is welcome!

Job Description

The eCommerce Trading Manager will:

  • Full P&L responsibility for D2C + Marketplace - includes: setting annual budgets, KPIs, driving trading and promotional activity to exceed sales targets
  • 1 Direct Report - Executive Level
  • Financial Reporting - weekly/monthly/annual performance metrics and action plans to achieve ROI, sales, profit, growth, customer feedback!
  • Create, monitor and optimise product listings - increase conversion rates, improved customer journey etc
  • Accountable for optimisation of Site Navigation
  • Ensure product/range/trading strategies are supporting by Digital Marketing Strategy - work with partners on SEO/PPC/Affiliates, retargeting and social advertising
  • Monitor Competitor's Activity + Pricing, leveraging insights to create NPD recommendations
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers on an Ecommerce Trading Calendar
  • Create accurate volume forecasts / stock intake plans - trade patterns, seasonality, sales curve to manage and ensure availability through peak seasons while avoiding overstock.

The Successful Applicant

The successful eCommerce Trading Manager will demonstrate

  • Experience managing a healthy ££M P&L for Branded Goods
  • Track record of managing DTC and Marketplace accounts
  • Driving Sales growth targets and creating strategic plans to improve KPIs
  • Used to working in Seasonal and Premium Value business is an advantage
  • Exposure to managing external agencies across both marketing/site development is highly valuable, too

  • Highly organised with attention to detail to ensure the smooth running of all daily operations.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and profit margin management
  • Project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
