We are seeking a Merchandiser to join a leading organisation in the retail industry, based in Leeds. This role involves overseeing stock management, analysing sales data, and ensuring product availability aligns with customer demands.

The Junior Merchandiser will support the Merchandiser and wider team to ensure commercial assortment in retail stores, maintaining availability and providing support analysis on decision making. An exciting opportunity to join a growing merchandising team & implement new processes for a growing store portfolio.

Supporting the wider team to maximise product profitability through effective forecasting, sales analysis & stock management. You will help to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time to maximise availability & sell through whilst minimising markdown spend. You will play a pivotal part in providing weekly, seasonal & ad hoc reports & analysis to support decision making.

• Develop and manage the critical path for all product launches for the range as well as own label, ensuring timelines are met from concept to delivery.
• Track product progress across supply chain stages, maintaining smooth communication between suppliers and customers.

• Review & re forecast core line cards on a weekly basis based on current performance. Propose any actions required in weekly trade to merchandiser on re-groups, par adjustments, phasing current commitment or any additional buys required.

• Supporting the Merchandiser & Senior Merchandiser with the availability and stock holding of the core product for stores and ecommerce.
• Responsible for reviewing the WSSI each week, reforecasting OTB requirements and rephasing intake where required.

Assist the merchandiser with range building by providing analysis and proposals on; planned ROS, brand, fit, colour, design and pricing.

Produce size scales for seasonal stock buys in line with critical path and ensure uploaded correctly on the buying minute.
