Job Description

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and databases.
  • Coordinate student enrolment, registration, and course administration processes.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to students regarding policies, deadlines, and requirements.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of course materials and schedules.
  • Assist in the organisation of events, such as inductions and graduation ceremonies.
  • Respond to student queries and provide guidance on administrative matters.
  • Work closely with academic and support staff to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Generate reports and analyse data to support decision-making and improve processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Student Administration Officer should have:

  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within the education or Not For Profit sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Experience of EBS, HESA returns and Canvas would be beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
