The Reconciliations Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient reconciliation processes within the accounting & finance department. This temporary position in St. Helier offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the financial services industry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing daily reconciliations across custody, stock, and cash.
  • Supporting bank reconciliations and cash payments activity.
  • Using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to analyse and reconcile data.
  • Working with CREST (experience ideal but not essential).
  • Proactively identifying and resolving reconciliation issues.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in weekly team meetings and ad-hoc catch-ups.



The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements

  • Strong reconciliations experience, ideally within financial services.
  • Confident in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs essential).
  • CREST knowledge desirable.
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable working in a close-knit team.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work accurately under pressure.
