Job Description

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in line with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide expert advice to patients regarding prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, and general healthcare.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
  • Deliver services such as medication reviews and health checks, where applicable.
  • Oversee the safe storage and handling of medicines.
  • Support and mentor pharmacy staff to maintain high service standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Pharmacist should have:

  • A recognised degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A patient-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience in a similar healthcare setting is beneficial.
  • Eligibility for Tier 2 sponsorship, if required.
